The Ascension Health “Benchmarking for Outcomes” model will also be highlighted and presented as an opportunity to advance your collaborative voice among key elected officials..

How do we build political will?

Objectives:

  • Increase skills to assess your community’s readiness for change and the resources available to promote the change.
  • Learn how to build community will to support change.

For a community to successfully conceive of and implement an effective strategy for its uninsured, there must be wide-spread political will, among both the general population and the multiple stakeholders. Assessing readiness and generating political will is a critical step in building support for your community’s efforts and engaging your community in effective problem solving.
