Gladys Rivera is a certified community health worker, born and raised in Hood River, Oregon. Gladys serves as a board member of Gorge Grown Food Network, a council member of United Way, an emergency preparedness manager for Hood River County, a CPR instructor, a member of Latinos en Accion and the Mayors advisory council and has worked in several roles within health care, including community benefit. She serves as a community care coordinator for the local pathways community hub, and has daily direct experiences supporting residents who face the injustice of food insecurity and other barriers to health.
